- The Coatimundi has a flexbile snout to be able to forage in crevices and holes for food.
- A Coatimundi lives in large stable groups that can reach up to 40 or so females with their young. The male is mostly solitary except when mating.
- At night, the White Nose Coatimundi sleeps on branches high in the canopy.
