In recognition of International Zebra Day, here are Zebra images photographed by Cyril Brass while on 2 African Safaris to Kenya and Tanzania.
There are 3 Living Speciesthe; Grévy’s zebra (Equus grevyi), plains zebra (E. quagga), and the mountain zebra (E. zebra).
The Plains Zebra (Equus quagga), also known as the Common Zebra, is the most common and geographically widespread species of zebra.
Its range is fragmented, but spans much of southern and eastern Africa south of the Sahara.
